How do I create email alerts and saved searches?

Setting up email alerts (Property alerts) is a great way to keep up to date with your local property market and to not miss that potential dream home, as you can receive summary emails of properties which might interest you. They are easy to set up, there's no limit to how many you can create, and they can be created for all the different departments across PrimeLocation. 

To create an email alert, you will need to be signed into your PrimeLocation account, My Prime.

Creating email alerts

  1. Go to www.primelocation.com
  2. Click Sign in/Register
  3. Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
  4. Hover over your desired department; For Sale, To rent, New homes, or International
  5. Click the relevant Property for sale/to rent tab
  6. Add in your search criteria for your dream home. You can click Advanced search options to really tailor your results
  7. Click Search 
  8. At the top of your search results, click Get instant alerts
  9. The Create a property alert window appears. Select the frequency that you wish to receive email alerts for when there are new properties in your chosen area
  10. Click Save search

Creating saved searches

Saved Searches allow you to receive email alerts for when there are new properties in your search area.

  1. Go to www.primelocation.com
  2. Click Sign in/Register
  3. Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
  4. Hover over your desired department; For Sale, To rent, New homes, or International
  5. Click the relevant Property for sale/to rent tab
  6. Add in your search criteria for your dream home. You can click Advanced search options to really tailor your results
  7. Click Search 
  8. At the top of your search results, click Save your search
  9. The Save this search window appears. Select the frequency that you wish to receive email alerts for when there are new properties in your chosen area
  10. Click Save search

If you want to create saved searches based on prior searches you have made:

  1. Go to www.primelocation.com  
  2. Click Sign in/Register
  3. Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
  4. Hover over My Prime and click Alerts & searches. In the Recent searches section, searches you have previously run will appear in this list
  5. In the Actions column, click Save to save the search as a new email alert
  6. You can now Name your search, and select the frequency that you wish to receive email alerts for when there are new properties in your chosen area
  7. Click Save Search
